Ii wanted you to use me as a reference if you wanted to Newt may very well be the best pointer I have ever owned, your description of what he did didn’t do him justice he does tons more. For example when my other dog is on point and he doesnt see her all I have to say is back and he hits the breaks!! His nose is excellent and he is very intense and as you know when you say whoa its dead stop not take ten and then stop lol as far as his personality its definately the best Ive ever seen in a pointer I can even bring this dog in the house after a hard day of hunting and he sits right beside me the whole time. This is saying lots coming from me I hardly ever am pleased with a bird dog but Newt is really a cool dog I am so glad I called you and decided on Newt thanks also with your patience with me as you know I asked and called you numerous times calling from across country thanks for your honesty you were spot on with Newt we will do business again I wish there were more of you in the bird dog business bryan from missouri

Craig,    Just a note letting you,and anyone intested, that I have now recieved my second pup from your kennel and I am very satisfied. My conversations with you about what I was  buying and what I recieve turned out to be very consistent.        I first bought a young dog that is a direct daughter of honky tonk. craig was insistent that her quailities and drive would fit my need for a birdy, stylish and biddable hunting dog and NSTRA competitor. He was right. I later went right back to craig for another HT pup. This would be from the maniac/heartbreak breeding. This pup also shows good style, health and socialization. Everyone knows that a well bred dog requires proper attention to achieve it’s greatest level of performance but starting with a dog that is healthy, sound and well socialized is an important aspect. These dogs have it. I would recommend craig and his kennel. He is a straight shooter and very helpful with the travel arrangements. DAVE in Nebraska.

I bought one of the HONKY TONK HEARTBREAK puppies and Duchess from Craig Shaw and could not be more happier with them I took Duchess up in Northern Oklahoma the Sat. after I got her and we killed 20 pheasants over her she is Very easy to handle and a joy to hunt with. I personally have two of his pups. They are out of Duchess Charmer, They are 3 mos. old now and show all the potential you would ever expect. Bold. Friendly. Very stylish. Excellent line of breeding. The Breeder takes excellent care of the pups prior to sale. Clean facilities. The pups are handled on a daily basis.
